It's been a fantastic year for multi-talented musician Labrinth, who released his debut album Electronic Earth back in April (which missed out on the #1 spot only to Nicki Minaj), promoted four successful singles (including his first #1, the collaboration with Emeli Sandé), and also worked on tracks with Plan B, Devlin and Rihanna. And, before the year's even out, he's laid some brand new tracks on us to enjoy.
For the last few weeks Lab has been teasing his Twitter followers with hints of new music, and letting his fans gain an insight into his production process with audio updates on Soundcloud, and on Christmas Day 2012 he unveiled a brand new EP of songs featuring various established acts and stars in the making. The collection, entitled Atomic, is available to stream for free on Labrinth's Soundcloud account, and features five tracks on which the in-demand producer works with, amongst others, Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32, and Odd Child label artist Etta Bond.
Atomic is the first set of new music Labrinth has released since his first full-length effort just eight months ago, and 2013 looks set to be another huge year for the Hackney-based singer-songwriter, who has a whole range of collaborations lined up as well as the very strong possibility of a new record. You can check out the full stream of the EP below.
