The idiosyncratic Dutch producer continues to develop his unique brand of analog produced techno on his new album Teac Life...
Teac life is the sound track for playing Tron in the Black Forest with conifers sprouting up spontaneously in front of your bike. Or the conceptual theme music for that speeder bike scene in Star Wars III where princess Leia escapes that scout trooper by making him crash into a tree. In short it is utterly thrilling both sonically and emotively. Tracks like ‘Moonmist’ sound almost like a merry-go-round, doubling back on itself steadily but always developing and it is easy to get lost in the albums progress- like being lost in a forest rave that happened a long time ago in a galaxy far away...
