Rilès, the fantastic new French rapper who raps in English

RnB/Hip Hop | Friday 9th February 2018 | Lio

It all started with the project #RilèsSundays in September 2016 to September 2017. Every Sunday the French rapper would produce his own music in his bedroom and post it on his YouTube channel - and the rest is history.

Today, Rilès has amassed a total of 108 million views on his YouTube channel and his most popular music video 'Brothers' has been watched 22 million times!

It is easy to see why the rapper has been gaining popularity. He broaches wide-ranging and relatable topics, from ambition, ego or rivalry. He tells a story and on the inspirational track  ‘I do It’, which has already reached over 10 million views, he raps about the people important to him and how they motivate him to continue doing music. You can watch the full video below:

Unlike other artists, Rilès doesn't work for a record company but produces his own music. This has allowed the rapper to be as creative as he likes and with tickets for his Jungle Tour out now, we can only imagine what else he has in store for us in 2018.
