Wall To Wall Bowie (Saturday)

With new arrangements, jazz twists and an imaginative approach, Musical Director Janette Mason leads special performances from vocalists David McAlmont and Sam Obernik for what is always a serious musical treat for both Bowie and Jazz fans alike.

David McAlmont (vocals)
Possibly one of the greatest singers this country has ever produced, having collaborated with everyone from Bond composer David Arnold to Michael Nyman, Paul Weller and most famously with Bernard Butler producing the classic hit single Yes.

Sam Obernik (vocals)
A constant presence on the U.K. dance music scene, singer/songwriter Sam Obernik has been an in-demand guest vocalist for some of the genre's biggest names due to her distinctive vocal sound.

Janette Mason (keys)
Even without knowing it, there's a fair chance you'll have heard Janette's special musical touch time and again - on many albums from Ian Shaw to Robert Wyatt, live in concert with Oasis plus her contributions to movie and TV soundtracks. As a Jazz musician, she has been a seminal figure on the British Jazz scene for the last fifteen years, sharing the stage with Mornington Lockett, Julian Siegel and many more.
