Another breathtaking open mic with Noteworthy

Other | Tuesday 27th March 2018 | Tania

Paper Dress Vintage has once again hosted a Noteworthy Open Mic on Sunday, March 25th and it was swamped with lively moments and valuable talent.

Noteworthy has taken residency in this little cafe for a while now but it doesn’t make the music any less surprising and catchy.

Their Sunday show was quite a special one. Guest artist Ralph Taylor, a young talented man with phenomenal vocal chords took to the stage to perform two songs and an additional 2 unreleased tracks, specifically for the event. Taylor's performance was nothing but breathtaking. Guitar and vocals in sync, he gave life and vitality to the little upstairs room of Paper Dress Vintage.

This, however, did not discourage other performers as they were eager to demonstrate their talents. May it be with a guitar or a voice alone, these young - or not - talents couldn’t seem to get enough of the scene. Each one of them had something to show, and it would’ve been impossible to stop them.

It was powerful, it was joyful, but mostly it was refreshing to hear and see the raw skill on show.

These open mics are held every Sunday and you should definitely head to one. Whether you are a performer or just eager to enjoy a playful night out, there is always a place for you.
