We’ve got a hair raising selection of tunes this time round, from French duo Abstraal.

Easing us into the weekend we’ve got a huge selection of tracks from the dynamic French duo, Abstraal. Known to their parents as Tutti and Castelz; they’ve been musically working together for a couple of years, but their friendship goes waaay back.

In the brief time they’ve musically been together, they haven’t wasted a moment dropping countless tunes. Delving into the progression, emotional side of the clubs they can already boast some bangers on their growing discography. They’ve have added another gem to their collection.

Joining forces with gizA DJs, it’s another class example of uplifting, dramatic house that’s celebrated the world over. 'Ain’t Around' draws you in with catchy vocals, powerful synths and a pulsating beat. Set to cause chaos on the floors when they’re eventually open!

Marking the records release and celebrating a load of other music, Abstraal take over our playlist’s latest edition. They’ve filled it with some epic, show stopping records as we kickstart the weekend in style.

Intro - The XX

This track gives us a strange feeling, like nostalgia but with happy things. This track is the proof of the powerful of music. Without any lyrics, only a riff to create a lot of emotions.

Opus (Four Tet Remix) - Eric Prydz

Imagine a warehouse with a big sound system & light show, a crowd full of love… pure peak time. It’s the track to go to another dimension. The progression is so good, and the break made everyone crazy.

Hold Me To The Light (Tale Of Us Remix) - KAS:ST

Masterpiece. What a Track, trancy & groovy. Vocal, synth, atmosphere hypnotized us. Drops are super heavy too. If Jesus listened to techno music after resurrection, this one is probably one of them!

Nothing Around Us - Mathame

Close your eyes and feel it… 100% goosebumps and hard to describe those emotions. A deep anthem to trip in another realm of consciousness.

What To Do (&ME Remix) - Guy Gerber

A timeless tune. It's incredible because nobody expected the vocals after 5 min of great background. This is really another level. Such a vibe, you look at the world differently. Sometimes music can help you to change your perception. What a feeling!

Sky & Sand - Fritz & Paul Kalkbrenner

That track transcends any one genre or style. It's a final track to close a moment, with a sad message but we can find a lot of joy & hope behind. Maybe this track could be used to recover pain. A tribute to the “Berlin experience”.

Caje (feat. Narra) - Nicone & Sascha Braemer

We don’t understand lyrics, but it works. If memory is good, it’s a kind of gipsy dialect. When you listen to it, you can imagine a wodden shed, in a random beach at sunrise, with your best friends for a happy hippie moment.

Érosion (feat. Noël Rasendrason (John Tejada Remix)) - Dew Town

Here we give you one of our super-secret weapons to kill the dancefloor... What a remix from Tejada. French lyrics are totally crazy. If you follow the voice, you can feel a kind of motivation to be stronger, like a guru. The tension blowed our mind when we listened to it for the 1st time & unique time in London, on a Terr's set. we recorded the video and finally, several months after we found it.

And I Say (Xinobi Edit) - Nicolas Jaar

Fantastic groovy percussion, sexy saxo rocks & sensual vocal...Perfect to close a set, this song gets down to it. Brilliant edit from Portuguese master.

Fame (Abstraal Romantica Vision) - Mehari

We selected only this one from our discography because it’s a special one. We like to surf on different waves when we’re re-interpreting a track. It’s more than a remix, here we were in a "Romantic" mood to pay tribute to the French Touch DNA of this track written by Eric Chedeville, former boss of the famous Crydamour label so dear to Daft Punk. The result is a carnal atmosphere based on baroque electro, less up-tempo and dark than our other productions. This track speaks about “the fame”, the celebrity glorified by social networks. It was funny to see our track played by the progressive house legend John Digweed, it sounds so far from his usual music but emotion probably touched him!
