Friction has dropped a big room smasher, signalling the countdown to a new album.

Friction is an artist who you can always rely on to deliver the goods. His newest single 'Falling Down', furthers his credibility as a consistent player in drum & bass. It’s an anthemic cut, giving us flashbacks of packed tents and roaring crowds. Featuring a revving synth line, a bold bassline and featuring the expressive vocals from Poppy Baskcomb. It’s already picked up wide support from the music community, bagging 'Rinse Out Track Of The Week' from Rene LaVice, getting spun by Annie Mac, and allocated as Spotify’s 'Massive Drum & Bass' cover.

The festival ready record kicks off the countdown to the Brighton-based artist’s newest album. Forthcoming on his dancefloor focussed imprint Elevate Records, it’ll be Friction’s second album following from his 2018 smasher 'Connections'. As yet untitled, the new album with undoubtedly raise the levels yet higher for one of drum & bass’ global superstars.

Since emerging Friction has gone from strength to strength. A combination of sick releases, insane shows, his stint as BBC Radio 1’s drum & bass host and heading two of the leading labels in drum & bass have all ensured his continued success. His name has become synonymous with the genre so fans will be under no mistakes that his forthcoming album will raise the bar yet again.
