Lenzman announces a new album, and it has a first single that’s smooth AF.
The North Quarter’s big boss Lenzman has announced a brand new album 'A Little While Longer'. It’ll be an eleven tracker packed with all the Lenzman magic we’ve come to love. Featuring on the album alongside the Amsterdam-based drum & bass maestro is Satl, Slay and Fox. Produced over a three month period Lenzman has channelled his total change in routine and overcoming of a void in inspiration.
Despite the album not due until May 14th, he’s dropped us the first single, 'Gimmie A Sec' - it’s a masterclass of soulful drum & bass. Exactly what we’ve come to expect from this producer. Featuring the South London vocalist, Danny Sanchez. The urban word play works perfectly over the jazz-inflected piano’s, all rolling over with a rapid-fire drum play.
Over the years, Lenzman has gone from strength to strength. He has steadily been dropping albums and singles, each more received than the last. In the clubs he’s become a firm favourite behind the decks with appearances at events such as Outlook, Gottwood, and of course his residency at Phonox. This album is sure to be another jewel in Lenzman’s story.
Lenzman’s first single, 'Gimmie A Sec' featuring Danny Sanchez from his forthcoming album, 'A Little While Longer' is out now on The North Quarter - Buy/stream
