Redlight lands into 2021 with an awe-inspiring record, 'Crystal Rain'.

UK dance music icon, Redlight lands into 2021 with his sick new release, 'Crystal Rain'. It's second release from his new label, Dream Vision Future and like the imprint's debut release, explores deeper, introspective vibes with the high production values that has made Redlight a leading artist in the UK scene.

Channeling a classic 2-step beat, with those bass tones Redlight has been hitting the clubs with since he first arrived on the scene - on paper it's a classic sound we've come to expect from the much loved Bristolian producer. Though despite the regularities we hear, he arrives here from more ambient settings. Smooth tones creep in with whispering vocals ahead of a solid, clean bass pumping along with the 2-step beat. Channeling the elements of rave music, but focusing on a more after-hours vibe than peak time club smasher. The depth within the track captures your attention from the get go and shares an elegance to Redlight's production that we haven't had a chance to see much of before.

This polished cut follows up Dream Vision Future's debut release, also from Redlight from the tail end of 2020. On a similar tip, 'Dreamquestalso looks deeper into Redlight's sound. Both signal a change in style and sounds so, so good. So far the launch of his new label, heading in an expansive sonic direction has been a huge success that's left us eagerly awaiting more. Definitely on to add to your playlists.
