Harriet Jaxxon unleashes her debut track The Sound

Drum and Bass | Friday 12th June 2020 | Arren

Harriet Jaxxon releases her debut record, and it’s a smasher.

After rapidly rising the ranks in drum & bass becoming one of the most in demand DJs on the circuit, Harriet Jaxxon now turns her head towards production. The Rinse FM radio host teased about her moves into the studio in an interview with us about a year ago, and after waiting patiently her debut release has arrived! Entitled 'The Sound', it’s a banging track which condenses her sets down into four minutes, complete mayhem.

Big room synths, badman breaks and a cheeky little vocal hook mark out the track. If the clubs were open, we guarantee loads DJs would be rinsing it right now. With her rich musical heritage, techniques learned as a music technology student, and strong raver credentials she knows how to move a crowd and has used this knowledge to help give this track some serious impact. A strong debut from one of drum & bass’ newest headliners.

This release is the first of many, opening a new door in Jaxxon’s ever growing career. Before the pandemic her schedule was hectic AF with huge slots at the biggest festivals and events around the world. She has continued working with Rinse FM and also started a regular show on her Instagram, Harriet Jaxxon Locks Down where she speaks to some of the big names in drum & bass. The future seems bright for Jaxxon as she proves time and time again that she ain’t here to fuck around.
