Body Clock gives psychedelia a modern twist

As far as debut singles go, the kaleidoscopic track ‘Body Clock’, by Isle of White indie-psychedelic-pop band As We Leave is a bloody good one. With raw and rhythmic slow guitars and enticing drums, Body Clock carries you to a world of psychedelia and dream pop.
Taking aspects of their life from the shores beyond Britain, the band’s general vibe is made up of nostalgia, rural heritage and layers of life experience. Anyone a fan of Wolf Alice, Tame Impala or anything 60’s psychedelia (Jefferson Airplane, we’re looking at you) will be a fan of this band.
The newest single explores the idea of finding out where our minds go to at night. Nothing about the track is mundane!
Frontman, Caine Entwistle says: “I’m not the best sleeper in the world, I find the silence and darkness of the night comforting but it also makes any philosophical thought processes long and drawn out to the nth degree, into the early hours of the morning, so ‘Body Clock’ is about those long drawn out hours of thinking... and then the obvious physical side effects of that.”
