Heartachers will take you on a beautiful and emotional journey

If you’re looking for 5.15 minutes of goose-bump inducing melodies, you need to check out Luca Wilding’s new track ‘Heartachers’. This track will take you to another world and bring you back again in a whirlwind of soft, yet, intense, harmanies.

Wilding’s music is like if Alt-J gently ran into The Lumineers and what was left was an amalgamation of melancholic guitar, powerful vocals and unique lyrics. This is dream-folk at its finest- an amazing feat considering that the singer-songwriter never picked up an instrument in his youth.

Released on 12th June, the track is about dealing with mental health. It was originally written for a friend but has many points that resonate with a lot of us.

“Heartachers is about learning to let go of what was. It was meant as a kind of call to arms; an invocation of the strength it takes to overcome the mountains of the mind. It tells the simple story of trying to love someone through all their pain and despite their sadness,” He says.

Creating the song was influenced by his own life experiences and the artist has also spoken about how musicians like Leonard Cohen have also greatly influenced his sound.  Both things are clear to hear through the pain and passion in his voice.
