Perfect Havoc release debut track from new dance collective, CO-DE.

London’s esteemed Perfect Havoc have been endless firing out the bangers, supplying a perfect dosage of slick big room house to soundtrack our lockdown raves. One such release was from a brand new group CO-DE, or co-defendants with their debut release 'Open Your Eyes'. Featuring the catchy vocals of singer/songwriter Yasmin Jane, uplifting piano chords and heaps of positive energy - it’s a track primed to get blasted while we sip our quaratini’s our balconies/gardens.

It’s a massive track and a perfect debut release, though this isn’t any group, more like a super group made up of lovable rogues. Individually they are BBC Radio 1’s ‘Best of British’ and former Ministry of Sound resident; Jamesie (pictured above), Haji & Emanuel’s Paul Emanuel, and founder of the Born To Dance label and club series; Gavin McCall.

Collectively they’ve had a colourful past including a near death experience, time at Her Majesty’s Pleasure and, of course, huge success in music. Brought together by their love of the latter, all influenced by disco grooves and carnival vibes they’ve all overcome some serious bullshit and come out stronger. Together they channel their experiences, knowledge and energies into producing an original, accessible sound which is as eclectic and addictive as their personalities.

Despite only just releasing their first track, they’re on track to lighting dance floors everywhere with their sick sound and are planning for big things in future such as live performances encompassing DJ sets with guest musicians and vocalists. CO-DE is a name we’ll be hearing a lot more of in the coming months and years.
