Guestlist | Clubs: Black Circle
Wednesday 13th May 2020 | Arren
Swiss house producer, Black Circle is the next up to select his favourite clubs.
Just one year deep into this solo project, and already the name Black Circle has made leaps and bounds. He’s remixed the likes of; CamelPhat and David Squillace. Been remixed by OXIA, and collaborated with Nic Fanciulli and Matthias Tanzmann. Through both his remixes and original works he’s caught the attention of the upper elchos of the industry with Black Coffee, Blondish and Sasha just some of the artists supporting his music.
Just recently he released a new track with NBA former Rony Seikaly. Entitled 'What For', it’s a warming house beat with subtle piano chords and a lush vocal. Sure to be a hit this summer, it’s uplifting melody takes to Ibiza’s shores whilst the planes cannot. It came out in April on Stride, you can bag yourself a copy here.
Celebrating the release of his latest track with Rony Seikaly, Black Circle has shared with us his favourite venues around the world. He’s selected a great bunch of venues that I’m sure we all can’t wait to get back into!
Supermarket Club - Zurich, Switzerland
I’m gonna start with Supermarket in Zurich. For me it’s more than a club because all my friends work there and it’s always fun to see them, but the main reason why I chose Supermarket is very simple… This club has an amazing acoustic for their KV2 sound system and they’re still working on the sound quality, even though it’s already insane. When you’re there, you don’t actually hear the music, you feel it!
Ushuaia - Ibiza, Spain
No words needed. Ushuaia is a place to be!
Wall - Miami, USA
I was supposed to play at Club Wall in Miami together with Nic Fanciulli at the Miami Music Week until Covid-19 came and made sure we won’t play anywhere.
Watergate - Berlin, Germany
I’ve always been a huge fan of German electronic dance music culture. Watergate is a club you can’t describe in words. You are not even allowed to take pictures inside the club with your phone. Definitely one of the hot-spot clubs in Germany.
DC-10 - Ibiza, Spain
This magical place is well known for their amazing after-hour parties with a bunch of great names in the music industry. But what I’m really digging about DC-10 is Circoloco. Founded as a party/label by Antonio Carbonaro, it’s become very popular worldwide with the famous clown face brand.
