February has flashed passed and we're just about ready to dive right into March. And mate, this month is packed with sick events with massive artists and labels heading to London. Whether you like in your face drum & bass, the grooving sounds of house or the murkiest of techno; all the clubs are firing on all cylinders. So fill your boots with our run down of some of the best events happening in London this March.

Fabio & Grooverider

One of the most iconic dance acts of all time. Fabio & Grooverider have been smashing the dance for decades now. They are the forefathers of drum & bass and continue to promote and push the genre today. Their influence in UK music knows no bounds, many artists cite Fabio & Grooverider as important figures within their own career including Goldie, Bailey, Matrix and Calibre. As you can imagine, and should know by now, their sets are always a winner.

20 Years of Terminal M

Monika Kruse is celebrating her label, Terminal M’s 20th birthday at Egg with a couple of the imprint’s favourites. Monika will head proceedings and is sure to smash the King’s Cross venue with her staple pulsating, enticing techno. She’ll be joined by Uakoz and Mark Reeve, both great DJs with affiliations to the esteemed techno label.

Sven Väth

German powerhouse Papa Sven will be landing in London for an evening techno bash at Brixton’s Phonox as part of his world tour. The figurehead of the Cocoon, Väth’s influence in the scene is ever lasting and immeasurable. Catching him on Phonox’s 500 capacity floor guarantees to be special.

My Nu Leng & M8s

Bristol bassheads My Nu Leng return to E1 for another edition of their party. As per they’ve sorted a line up jam packed with the biggest and best artists from across the bass music spectrum. There’s a mammoth b2b session between Zed Bias and Klose One, sets from Benton, Alexisitry and a Bluenote special set from the mighty Grooverider. Not forgetting the main duo themselves who’ll be laying down an extended set with Dread MC.

Dax J, 999999999, Vril, Zanias and Antonio De Angelis

Strap yourselves in for this one as E1 have sorted an insane night of uncompromisingly hard edged techno to batter their much loved sound system. Leading the charge is Dax J, the London-born Berlin-based DJ and producer has laid waste to techno land in the recent years with his insane style. He’s joined by the equally destructive 999999999 outfit, VRIL, Zanias and E1’s resident Antonio De Angelis. Industrial techno at its finest.

HAAi all night long

The incredible HAAi will takeover Village Underground all night long for what promises to be an epic return to London. Over the past couple of years she has risen massively up the ranks, due to her mind blowing DJ sets. Her unique and diverse taste in music oozes out into her hair raising sets taking you to places you’d never imagine.

Jon Hopkins Polarity Tour

Following on from the mind blowing Singularity tour, Jon Hopkins is back with another, Polarity. In his latest show he’ll tether together two desperate elements of harsh and fragile in his music. He’ll play live on a grand piano for parts of the show and will be joined by consummate musicians and long-time friends.

A.M.C presents Energy

Winner of Best DJ at last year’s Drum&BassArena’s Awards is taking over E1 for the first time with one of his mental Energy shows. His party series is all about A.M.C’s passion for the full spectrum of drum & bass which he flaunts in proper brain melting sets. On point tune selections masterfully mixed, it’s really no wonder why he got the top spot last year. He’ll be joined by Phace, Simula and a special ‘Trust Me I Was There’ set from the legendary DJ Zinc.

Two legends descend on fabric in March for a serious night of fierce beats. Taking charge of room 1 is the Detroit legend Jeff Mills. For more than three decades he’s been a prominent figure in the global techno scene. Blending disparate genres with extraordinary technical prowess, it’s no surprise he’s still smashing it today. Meanwhile over in room 2 is another certified legend, Dave Clarke. The UK DJ/producer is renowned for his aggressive sets of techno and electro which has taken him behind the decks at the biggest clubs and festivals on the planet.

Sam Paganini Live

Sam Paganini will perform his first ever live show this month in Brixton. He’s crafted a unique style of percussive and harmonic techno since surfacing in 1997. Well respected in the game, Paganini has proved his worth time and time again. His latest move is yet another expansion to his skyrocketing career.

Moondance 25

25 years in the dance, and still Moondance are smashing it. Repping the sweet sounds of London and beyond, always hosting the best DJs and selectors from drum & bass, UKG and classic rave. They’ve hosted parties all over London but this will be their first time at fabric for fabriclive.

Toolroom In Stereo

Two labels collide this month bringing serious house heat to 338’s Terrace. The two imprints have been throwing the only sell out pool party at Miami’s Winter Music Conference for 5 years now and this year will bring those vibes to London for the first time. Both labels are highly regarded in the house world, so catching them together is sure to be special.

Ben Klock

The juggernaut of Berlin techno, Ben Klock will perform his first set on Ministry of Sound’s iconic sound system. Striving for perfection in everything he does, the Berghain resident batters venues all over with his distinct, crisp style. Showcasing the deep, murky sounds from his home city to the world, Klock sets are always a winner, anyone who knows his sound knows that Ministry’s sound system is in for a serious workout.

Symmetry Recordings

Break and his label are heading to London for a night of banging basslines and rinsing sounds. The iconic Break is one of best producers in the game. Tight productions and show stopping sets set him above the rest. He’ll be heading proceedings with a killer 2 hour set and will be joined by a host of sick DJs including Skeptical, Breakage and DLR.
