SEMCON launches Scotland's first ever music conference this July

Scotland will have its first ever music conference next year.

This summer will see Edinburgh host Scotland’s debut music conference, SEMCON. On the 17th and 18th July more than 100 industry heads, speakers and experts will head up to the city for two days of seminars, workshops, product showcases and loads more. They’ll cover all sides of the electronic music industry with their huge range of activities and expertise. It’ll be the first of an annual conference and essential meeting point for the industry in Scotland and beyond.

Working alongside SEMCON is a whole host of leading brands including VOID, Point Blank, Beatport, Defected, Wunderground, DJ Growth Lab, Game Over, SKapade Studios, Label Worx, Data Transmission, Platform808, Skiddle and AFEM. All will bring their expertise and experience to help deliver the best possible opportunities by bringing the industry together to collaborate, network and share vital knowledge.

Scotland famously thrives on electronic music and all that shines through with this specially curated series of showcases, educational activities, immersive forums and of course after dark parties right in the heart of Edinburgh.
