Grum presents Deep State - 1st November - The Steel Yard
Conspiracy theories have been running wild around the disappearance of Grum’s second (or is that third) artist L.P. ‘Deep State’. Announced late in 2018, the album vanished. While he cannot confirm nor deny some of the more colourful conjecture around the album’s withdrawal, Grum and Anjunabeats are pleased to announce that ‘Deep State’ is back, rewired and reinvigorated for 2019, with an official launch party taking place at The Steel Yard just in time for Halloween.
In alphabetical order, Grum's special guests include Dylhen, Gabriel & Dresden, Genix and Kane. With prolific releases and remixes on labels including Armada, FSOE UV & FSOE Parallels, Dylhen has received stellar support from artists including Sasha, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Solarstone to name a few, all in a very short space of time.
It's not easy for any artist to pull off an amalgam of trance, techno, house and pop as their sound but in the case of Gabriel & Dresden, the pair have managed to create a sound that's genuinely unique and artfully combines elements of these genres for an engaging and energetic experience on any given dancefloor.
Leading the Anjunabeats pack with his Trance/Techno sound, Genix joins the bill as one of the most respected UK names in the scene with over 50 singles & remixes to his name.
Not to mention his Guinness World Record accolade for longest DJ set in history - 84 hours and recently playing at Mount Everest Base Camp at 5,600 metres above sea level.
Diversity is a word many artists try to claim but Kane is artist, label owner, radio host, presenter, and and editor of a
leading online publication. Kane has made it his mission to be the voice for electronic music.
The Dirty Disco Halloween Show - 2nd November - The MiNT Club Leeds
Back in May 2005, The Dirty Disco was started at the Northern Light by Foz, Stu and Lizard. The next 6 years was a huge adventure and what started as a bit of fun soon turned into something huge and was well known all over the UK and beyond.
Cutting edge lineups and sometimes 6 amazing headliners and 12 residents playing over the 3 rooms, started to attract 2000+ people every month. They are bringing back Dirty Disco this year for a special one-off party to celebrate what would be our 10th Anniversary and of course, Halloween. Jeremy Underground and Nightmares on Wax are going to be taking you through various stages, tormenting you with some tantalising beats.
