Killer Hertz taking it to the next level with their latest offering for Elevate.
This trio from Brighton have been firing out some of the dopest big room drum & bass since they first surfaced a few years ago. In the short time they’ve been around they made a big impact with tunes released on Elevate and Viper, worked with Friction & Harry Shotta and remixed Matrix & Futurebound, Crissy Criss and Fatboy Slim.
There steady steam of bangers have been causing chaos in the clubs and festivals alike. They’re back this month with yet more fire on their regular Elevate Records. A monster track with two mixes; entitled ‘More’, both of which have been premiered on Radio 1 by Mista Jam and Rene LaVice.
On their new track Killer Hertz said it’s “one of our favourite tracks we’ve made to date. We wrote the music pretty quickly. The summer was in full swing and we were at our Brighton studio, the sun was blazing and really the track is a reflection of how we were feeling at the time. We sent the beat over to the incredibly talented Raphaella who absolutely nailed the vocals! This summer we had the chance to play the track live to 20,000 people as part of our live show at this years Beats For Love Festival and it was one of the highlights of our set!”
On their radio premiers they explain the original, premiered by Mista Jam, "was our first daytime Radio One play, it was such a buzz hearing it live on air! We also released a club mix of 'More' this week. It’s already getting some great DJ support. Rene LaVice premiered it on his Radio One Show. For this mix, we wanted to completely flip the original. We stripped the track right back and went in with a bass-heavy almost jungle vibe."
