The iconic MK Arena in Milton Keynes will begin hosting dance music events this spring and have a jaw dropping debut weekend.

Usually a giant ice rink, the venue will get transformed to include a 16,000 square foot dancefloor. Perfect for hosting the scale of event they’ve got lined up in early April. On the 5th and 6th of April they’ve got two different events stored up.

Kicking things off is BassJam who’ve wangled a headline set from Andy C. He’ll be joined by a star studded line up of bass heads; Dimension, Problem Central, Darkzy, James Hype and FooR. Following up on the 6th is Camelphat presenting BLOW! which brings a house heavy line up with Andrea Oliva, Detlef, Eli Brown and Max Chapman.

If successful the venue will be a fine addition to the UK’s large scale dance events calendar. Oliver Ibrahim who’s the director of Out Next Events, the guys behind the MK Arena transformation, said “We are aiming to develop MK Arena into one of the UK’s best electronic music event spaces … This is just the beginning of what is set to be an exciting calendar for Milton Keynes.”
