BFI: The line-up of the 62nd Edition of the London Film Festival is unveiled!

The BFI London Film festival is coming back to the streets of London. The British Film Institute London Film Festival is an annual film festival held in London, running in the second half of October with cooperation from the British Film Institute. 

The 225 feature programmes screening at the Festival includes 46 documentaries, 4 animations, 18 archive restorations and 7 artists moving image features. The programme also includes 160 short films, and 77 countries are represented across short film and features. It will take place from 10th to 21st October 2018.

The festival welcomes leading stars from across the international film industry. This year's line-up includes buzzed movies as Cuarón’s Roma, The Favourite with Emma Stone, Beautiful Boy with Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet, Robert Redford and The Old Man and the Gun.

Key filmmaking talent to attend the Festival’s gala and special presentation screenings also include: Steve McQueen,Viola Davis,Nicholas Hoult, Olivia Coleman, James Smith, Ethan Coen, Joel Coen, Tim Blake Nelson, Liam Neeson, Bill Heck, Steve Carell, Timothée Chalamet, Melissa McCarthy,Hugh Jackman, Jason Reitman, Rosamund Pike, Jamie Dornan, Stanley Tucci, Ralph Fiennes, George MacKay, Peter Jackson and many more.

Some Oscar nominees and winners filmmakers will make their way back to the festival after Call Me By Your Name, Luca Guadagnino presents the horror remake Suspiria and the Moonlight director Barry Jenkins will take his If Beale Street Could Talk to the London Film Festival. The Festival opens with the European Premiere of Academy Award®- winner Steve McQueen’s Widows, on Wednesday 10th October and closes with Stan & Ollie on Sunday 2st October.

There will also be space for exclusive meetings with some of the key stars: three Screen Talks with Keira Knightley, Alfonso Cuarón and Lee Chang-dong. You can find the line-up here.
