Long awaited heartfelt Rooting for You by London Grammar
Since their debut album If You Wait the band has been keeping quite a low profile despite the massive success that followed them in 2013. The wait was long, but the new single is finally here.
Rooting For you is everything you could hope to expect from Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dot Major...and even more. Hannah’s strong and powerful voice will have you daydreaming yourself into a whole different world of love ballads. It will break your heart as if it has never been broken before. You’ll feel the shivers rippling through you, from the bottom of your spine to your arms and head.
There are two versions of the song released so if you really want to experience Hannah’s soul-wrenching voice then in their video version she sings acapella for half of the song before she’s joined by the orchestra.
Hopefully this tantalising new single means that there is a good reason to be anticipating a new album from them as well and there is more beauty and melancholy to follow.
