Robo-Lawyer helps to zap that parking ticket

Other | Wednesday 29th June 2016 | Kat

It's one of those things we all hate in life...parking fines! One guy reached his limit and is now helping people to combat the system.

Stanford Uni student Joshua Browder has devised a system which have enabled 160,000 parking tickets to be successfully challenged using a bot service.

After finding himself constantly racking up parking fines, Joshua came up with the idea of 'the world's first robot lawyer.' The Do Not Pay Bot runs both in London and in New York and asks a series of questions, determining whether the issued notice is valid.

Following this success, Joshua is now working on a new bot which translates Arabic texts into English documents, which aims to help Syrian refugees.

Respect to Joshua! We can't wait to see how that goes and what other humanitarian causes he has up his sleeve...
