It is estimated that 12million tourists travel to Rome each year, and with this travel budget guide, you can become one of them!

Circolo degli Artisti

It is party time! Circolo degli Artisti is all you need to have one wild night. There are two indoor dance floors surrounded by ancient Roman walls, garden and gazebo dance floors. Oh and there's also a swimming pool! Whatever music you are into, there will be a dance floor for you! From punk to pop, there are indie bands frequently featured almost every night of the week. The atmosphere is always pumping which every tourist and local can enjoy. Escaping crazy teens, this club caters mostly for people in their 20s and 30s, and the prices are incredibly cheap, with all alcohol ranging from three Euros to six Euros, and yes, that does include cocktails! An awesome night in Rome, the solution is Cicolo degli Artisti.

La Maison

Wanting to look good and get your crump on? La Maison is well worth the visit. You need to dress in smart casual if you want to dance the night away to amazing hip-hop, pop, and RnB. Featuring a DJ each night, all alcohol under 15 Euros, and to meet great people in their 20s and 30s, all elements of a great party. The best nights to go are Thursdays through to Saturdays. La Maison is a cheap must!

Mood

Young people, loud music, diversity, and dancing are just some of the excellent features of Mood, one of the hippest clubs in Rome. Energy is one word which describes Mood, with the strobe lights, awesome beats, the larger dance floor to seating ratio, and wicked RnB, dance, tribal-house, and hip-hop music. Do not fear, there is a late night hot-dog and burger joint located close by, so you can satisfy the late night hunger after one crazy night! Drinks at Mood are remarkably cheap, beer only five Euros, cocktails 10 Euros, and shots are only three Euros. Mood will be one excellent night, so be prepared!

Mr. Pucci

Despite the fancy décor, Mr. Pucci is actually a very cheap place to drink! Offering the best drinks deals in Rome, Mr. Pucci is an intimate bar with stylish lounges, vintage theatre seats, friendly waiters, and a nightly laser show. This is known as the cool hang-out for up and coming artists and musicians. Mr. Pucci promises a great night and a cheap drink!

L’Antica Birreria Peroni

L’Antica Birreria Peroni (or The Old Peroni Brewery) is an excellent experience in itself. This brewery offers a vast selection of alcoholic drinks and the staff are willing to give ensure their customers are satisfied with their experience by giving tips on the specialties of the alcohol which is on offer! This brewery has local and imported beers to satisfy the tastebuds of every beer drinker; however, if it is wine you are into L’Antica Birreria Peroni offers a fine local wine, the White Castle Romans. Experiencing a real Roman brewery with a budget is possible with L’Antica Birreria Peroni!

Fiddler’s Elbow Rome

A long day at the Colosseum and you want to enjoy a cheap drink that is quick and easy to get to? Well, the Fiddler’s Elbow Rome is ten minutes walking from the Colosseum, and as a reputable Irish pub, there is a great selection of very cheap drinks. Cruise the night with pool, satellite TV, and darts, and there is a guarantee of a good night!

Gelateria Vice

It would not be a proper holiday in Rome if you did not experience gelato, and one of the best places to go on-the-cheap to experience delectable gelato and desserts is Gerlateria Vice. Beautifully crafted ice-cream desserts are wonderfully priced under 10 Euros. Gelateria Vice is loved not only by tourists, but the locals love it as well! The only way to enjoy gelato!

Forno Campo de’ Fiori

Whether you dine-in or want to take-away throughout the day and late into the night, Forno Campo de’ Fiori has excellent pizzas and pastries, and all are under 10 Euros! Located in the heart of Rome, young people from all walks of life come to enjoy this excellent restaurant and eat brilliant food made by expert bakers and chefs, what more do you need?

Sfizio Pizza

Cheap but tasty! Sfizio Pizza is a perfect place to go for a meal priced between five and fifteen Euros. Traditional Italian dishes for lunch or dinner, and a great range for breakfast. Brilliantly priced and perfectly located on the corner of Via Giovanni Giolitti and Via Gioberti, positioned very close to Rome Termini, and an ideal place to go if you need to rush and catch your train!

Sleeping

Stargate Hostel

Stargate Hostel is not only a cheap and adequate hostel to stay, but it located in the centre Rome’s historical centre and positioned right next to Termini Station, so you can reach most tourist sites by foot from this hostel. Stargate offers secure rooms of 4-6 bedrooms, each with private bathrooms. There is a housekeeping service, free-WiFi, no curfew or lockout, and it has a great bar. If you have a car, there is paid and secure parking nearby, and a supermarket just around the corner. A perfect location and a great stay!

Seven Hills Village

Seven Hills Village is ideal for 18-35 year olds which provides fun-loving people with a supermarket, restaurants, a disco, health services and a bus shuttle! Not only is there a pool for all guests with free WiFi, but there are organised tours on offer which lets you explore the greater culture and history of Rome. There are a vast range of rooms to choose from and all well priced. Brilliant value for money!

Hostel Two Ducks

Hostel Two Ducks is a brilliant place to stay, because it is very cheap but still clean and secure. Literally a few steps from Rome’s main train station, this hostel is found in a perfect location, with a large kitchen and many different size rooms available. In-house entertainment is provided and a great Two Ducks bar located nearby. Ideal for the on-the-go and on-the-cheap!
