Skullcandy are a brand that has never been shy to get noticed. Constantly bringing out new designs for their headphones gives music lovers a sure-fire way to get noticed. Now, they have taken it a step further by allowing customers to create their own unique headphones.
Skullcandy Edit allows the costumer to become the designer, giving shoppers the chance to customise the colour of different parts of the headphones as they like. Whether this means reflecting personality, or simply matching clothing, the site offers the choice of colour for the headband, frames, caps and even the cord.
The brand, often thought to be responsible for turning headphones into a fashion accessory, has faced competition recently from Apple as well as other big name companies, but the new service will allow for completely individual headphones, an option which is sure to attract large numbers of excited buyers.
At £180 and up to a two week wait for shipping, this is a service for the most committed listener, but one that perhaps offers the perfect way to put your own personal stamp on listening to your favourite music.
