Upcoming Reggae Events in London

Here are some hot reggae events coming up this month. If you want to get your summer vibe on right, check out one of these nights and stay irie.

 

 

I Power Dub at The Scala, Pentonville Road April 20th, 10pm- 6am

The monthly sessions feature three heavy weight sound- systems playing roots reggae music and special dub plates. Come hear Jah vibes!

DJ Shepdog at The Big Chill House, King’s Cross April 21st, 8.30pm- 2am

NICE UP!'s head hound Shepdog drops into the House with his usual mix of righteous party vibes, spanning everything from reggae, hip- hop and soul to drum & bass, dubstep and house. Bring your airhorn.

Bangers at The Big Chill Bar, Drury Walk April 21st, 8pm- 1am

DJ Norman Crook debut's this month so expect the biggest party bangers in the stratosphere covering dub, reggae, house, drum & bass, R&B and beyond. Party classics all- night long.

SubDub at Cable, Bermondsey Street April 27th, 10pm- 6am

Subdub's last outing at Cable in February was a journey of subsonic proportions. There were custom sound systems in Cable's main room, balcony room and Relay generating arguably the most gnarly bass output you'll hear anywhere. This time round Subdub are sticking with the same formula and it's sure to be another winner with all three spaces bumpin' to those vintage dub reggae beats!

Friday Night Pick N Mix at South London Pacific, Kennington Road May 18th, 5pm- 3am

DJ Weegee spins a mix of soundtracks, exotica, vintage reggae and other contemporary grooves til 10pm when this Friday night top pop pickers are Dave Daggers and Marshmellow Mike. Email your requests to info@southlondonpacific.com Admission Free b4 9pm, £3 b4 10pm and £5 after. 5pm til 3am

Peace & Dub at Bacchus Late Bar, Kingston

Peace & Dub hold a residency at Bacchus Late Bar in Kingston, Surrey, which is fortnightly on Tuesday's.
Peace & Dub aim to promote Roots Rockers Reggae Revival and the works of Rastafari to its fullness. As well as bringing through the nu skool (reggae orientated) dubstep, and giving new and established dubstep DJ’s a platform to express their love for all bass orientated music. Peace & Dub is an umbrella collective of roots, rock, reggae, rival and dubstep DJ’s
