Calyx & Teebee Scavenger/Stepping Stones Review

 

Long term friends & co-producers Calyx & Teebee bring us the first instalment of their highly anticipated All or Nothing album, due to be released on the massive Ram records.

Both tracks really bring it and have been played by the likes of Andy C, Bailey, Friction and Hype to name but a few. Scavenger comes hard with that signature Calyx & Teebee sound for which we love them so. Powerful synths and a pulse quickening build of percussion crescendo into a dirty drop with an abrasive bassline. Stepping stones explores their gentler side moulding smooth vocals over a robust bassline and tight drums to create a tune which finds its balance between dance floor prowess and classy soulful vibes.

Definitely an inspiring glimpse into what’s destined to be a great album. It’s out now so be sure to get yourself a copy.
