Here’s something interesting – Glastonbury began the day after Jimi Hendrix died. It’s the world’s largest performing arts festival and it’s from June 26th – 30th this time around. The line up is wicked, but it’s historic when compared to some other festivals this year – Reading/Leeds attendees were expecting Blur; they got Skrillex. On the Pyramid Stage the Artic Monkeys are headlining on the Friday (who’ve played every festival in every country ever, how did Reading/Leeds fail so spectacularly?), The Rolling Stones on the Saturday (Mick Jagger’s said he’ll be camping like everyone else!) and Mumford and Sons on the Sunday.
