Giant is a new night from 'The Date' crew who have been producing some of London's finest parties at West London's stunning Loft Studios over the past year and a half.
Giant will take place every two months at another special London venue, The Bussey Building in fast rising Peckham Rye. Similar formula to The Date, Giant will feature in two rooms of the world's finest exponents of house and disco.
For the first party on Friday 4th October the middle floor of the imposing Bussey will host an unbeatable disco line-up headlined by UK legend Greg Wilson, he will deliver a three hour set of his patented re-edited sounds.
Heavyweight support comes from Severino (resident at London's best weekly gay disco HMD), with support from resident and promoter Tim Keenoy and Si Kurrage from the city's longest running 7 inch only night Size Doesn't Matter.
The 2nd room features talented DJs & promoters with a killer house line up headlined by one of the UK's finest producers and DJs Jimpster of the mighty Freerange records. Quality support comes from resident DJ and promoter Stuart Patterson (Faith, East Village) plus The Thunder crew (Miles Simpson, Rick Hopkins, Joseph Apted) who have been hosting some of Dalston's best house nights over the past year. The room is warmed up to perfection by Just Jonathan not only a fine house selector but owner of Peckham's favourite boozer The Gowlett.
Giant will be hiring in extra sound, decor and visuals adding that extra magic to a very special launch night. The Bussey also boasts a huge open courtyard on the ground floor which will be lit by Giant's visuals team. To avoid any disappointment advance tickets are highly recommended, early birds have sold out as do all Date events in record time.
