Rvs Music Presents Kyodai (live) at Dukes House

RVS Music present “KYODAI” LIVE at Dukes House on Saturday 20th July
RvS are very proud to present their special guests, Kyodai on Saturday 20th July, alongside a stellar London line-up of Asadinho, Diesel, Dave Jarvis, Stuart Patterson, Paul Soul, Tim Keenoy and Si Kurrage.
Kyodai translates to “brothers” in Japanese. They are Spanish, based in Berlin and are signed to the ever-rising Swedish label, Local Talk. The duo, known under different pseudonyms, have released many tracks for various labels such as Poker Flat, Freerange, Muak & Room Control, and have been gaining props from heavy weights such as MAW, Jimpster, Gilles Peterson to name a few. Javier Garayalde and Luis Garayalde hail from Pamplona, Spain; their father is a jazz scholar and sax player who gave his boys an early education in classical and jazz. Needless to say they can both play instruments proficiently and have performed in various jazz bands making it truly a family affair. Inspired by jazz and blues, with a little garage, tech-house blended in, we have the truly explosive talent, Kyodai.
Asadinho, fresh from his remix of Lana del Rey that has been flying high in the Beatport Deep House charts for over 2 months with over 180,000 listens online, is currently on a roll with a string of new remixes and releases for the Summer. His forthcoming EP "Transgression EP" features a remix by Alex Arnout and a cut featuring Robert Owens on vocals. Recent singles have won the support of luminaries as diverse as Seth Troxler, Aeroplane, Damian Lazarus, Doc Martin, Pezzner, Mark Farina, Dusky, DJ T to name a few …
RvS label-partner, Paul Soul will be warming up the basement and all will be joined by the inimitable Stuart Patterson (East Village).
Upstairs lounge will be hosted by a heavyweight crew featuring Diesel (X-Press 2), Dave Jarvis (Faith), Tim Keenoy (The Date) and Si Kurrage (SDM) who will be providing the soundtrack of disco, soul and funk.
