Fabric's court appeal date set for November

House | Tuesday 4th October 2016 | Arren

Fabric aren't going down without a fight.

The Farringdon club has got the date their appeal begins as the donations continue to pour in.

Schedule for November 28th Fabric will head to Highbury Magistrates Court to try and overturn Islington Council's shocking decision to close the venue down.

The date came as part of Fabric's second transparency statement, along revealing that over £250,000 has been raised to help the fight for the cause.

'We have been very busy working on our twin objectives, the appeal against the revocation of the license and the need to change the Guidance under the Licensing Act'.

To do these they have sorted a legal team headed by Philip Kolvin QQ with assistance from leading licensing solicitors Woods Whur.

They are not holding back on this fight with a 1st draft of their request to change the Licensing Act already sent out 'to a number of trade and music industry organisations and associations to seek their opinion, advice and support'.

Beefing up the donations is a host of events from different venues in London and beyond are happening, with some already taken place. Well the show must go on and it certainly isn't stopping Fabric and it's parties from taking place.

You can help, by making a donation now and by attending any of the events below. #saveourculture
