Cage the Elephant Drops New Song "Trouble"
This past week Cage the Elephant treated us to a new song off their much anticipated fourth album Tell Me I’m Pretty, which is set to be released on December 18th. It’s almost like their Christmas present to us. If “Trouble” is any indicator of how the album will sound, then we’ve got a lot to look forward to. “Trouble” has that perfectly nostalgic sound to it, reminiscent of much of the American rock group’s music. The sound is more similar to “Cigarette Daydreams” or “Come a Little Closer” off Melaphobia, than the edgier sound of their earlier albums. Packed with loads of feeling, it’s the perfect song to listen to in the cold mornings on your daily commute. Check it out below and listen to their other song that dropped in October, “Mess Around.”
