Kendrick Lamar to collaborate with Lady Gaga
The Compton-bred rapper, the latest in the line of Dr. Dre's protégés, is set to collaborate with the biggest woman in pop on a brand new track to be released next month.
Eccentric pop superstar Lady Gaga is set to feature on a brand new track by up-and-coming hip hop star Kendrick Lamar, to be released in a few weeks. 'Partynauseous', which is set to be featured on the rapper's October debut album Good Kid, Mad City, will be released as a single on September 6th, following the critically successful 'The Recipe' (featuring Dre) and 'Swimming Pools (Drank)', both lifted from the same album.
Always the serial tweeter, Gaga revealed the collaboration to her 24 million Twitter followers a couple of days ago. She has also explained that her part of the song was written about her controversial relationship with the Indonesian city of Jakarta, where a show on her Born This Way Ball tour was cancelled earlier this year due to "religious concerns". No word yet on what Lamar's verses are about, although Gaga has said that the song was based upon a conversation the two had about "life and his forward-thinking views about love and hip hop", so we can expect something deep!
