Bad Self... Good Impact

Let’s face it, the UK Urban scene has been a bit dead lately! There are a few British artists out there that come to mind when I think deeply about the ones holding the game up on their backs. But there’s still a lot of work that needs to be done before we can get up there with the Americans.
Well, I’ve just been introduced to the crew Bad Self, a group of talented individuals who are on their way to the top, and from the material I’ve heard from them, they’re going to be tearing up the UK scene with their unique sounds and swagger.
The groups single ‘Gwan Wit Ya Bad Self’ Feat. Pitt isn’t the usual hip hop tune about sexy girls, money and drugs; it gives listeners a refreshing sound from the usual that we’re used to hearing. The groups sound is unique, and they couldn’t have picked a better time to spring upon us. A demo for their next single titled ‘Fresh to Death’ has generated over 107,000 channel views! That in its self should tell you how hard this group is grafting and grinding hard to make a difference in an industry that needs reviving.
They’re not just about making money and creating good music; they also raise funds for charities. Their single ‘Criminal’ was created in order to raise funds and awareness for poverty in countries like Somalia, where they’ve been destroyed by civil wars.
Bad Self offers a different, refreshing, head bopping sound to the ears, it’s clear that the group is out to make a difference and change the game for the better.
