T-Shirt Based on Joy Division Album

 

Disney have exposed their dark, Gothic underbelly with a T-Shirt design inspired by the sleeve for Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasure album. Despite a backlash from both Joy Division and Disney fans, Disney celebrated their latest product, stating: ‘The tee incorporates Mickey’s image within the graphics of the pulse of a star. That’s appropriate given few stars have made waves bigger than Mickey’.

The Unknown Pleasure design has a long history of use in clothing and product design, but this is definitely the strangest incarnation yet. The T-shirt costs $24.99. To purchase visit: http://www.disneystore.co.uk/
