With her debut 'Two Weeks' as the most hotly tipped album for the Mercury award and drawing comparisons ranging from David Bowie to Aaliyah, FKA Twigs is undoubtedly the artist of the moment. Generally categorised as 'alt-R&B', her hymnal electronic music is heavy with lusty seduction and surreal futurism – ultimately she's pretty undefinable.
It's clear from her insanely good videos and alien-like aesthetic that she has a talent for the visual. Now she's directed and starred in the Google Glass short film #throughglass. Featuring her classic bug eyes, (this time painted onto her eyelids) she writhes in monochrome - it's like a weirder version of Beyonce's 'Put a Ring on It'. Props to Google for getting her on board. Even if it is for a slightly questionable product. Check out the video below:
