Earlier today, East London emcee & producer, Parallax, dropped his second official video from his highly acclaimed debut EP, Depth Perception. Lyrically smashing the shallow side of UK Hip Hop Scene to pieces with his first video ‘Hip Hop Philosophy’, the ruthlessly poignant emcee now turns his attention to the modern world, from an over-reliance on technology, to governing corruption, to social media addiction – no aspect of the everyday rat race is safe. Offering slick word play that highlights underlying wrongs so often ignored in todays society, Parallax gives us a chance to reflect on issues and engage our brains.
