It's never too late for a festival!

July is finally here, meaning that England’s renowned festival season is in full swing. But what if you weren't one of the people that were lucky enough to get your hands on tickets?

 

"Everywhere I look, someone is away at some kind of festival in England, and here I am, bored out of my head" says student Sam Luck. Whether, like Sam, you didn't get tickets because you couldn't get the time off work or didn't have enough money, TicketMaster and Get Me In are here to save your summer.

 

Although some of the major festivals have already been and gone, there are still quite a few left to attend, with some tickets still on sale! Below is a list of upcoming festivals due to arrive in London: 

 

WIRELESS: Wireless Festival is coming to London's Finsbury Park and Birmingham's Perry Park this weekend to bring the best in RnB, Hip-Hop and House. Tickets are still available for both days and both venues, even though the website's poster art says that Saturday 5th July at Finsbury Park is sold out. Of course, there are limited tickets available.

 

4th July: - London - Headliners: Kanye West and Pharell Williams (48 tickets available)

-Birmingham - Headliners: Drake and Rudimental (still a shocking 112 tickets left)

5th July: - London - Headliners: Drake and Rudimental - (only 39 tickets left. Get yours quick, this is the most sought after day!)

-Birmingham - Headliners: Bruno Mars and Outkast - 123 tickets

6th July: - London - Headliners: Bruno Mars and Outkast - a whopping 239 tickets left

-Birmingham - Headliners: Kanye West and Pharell Williams - 86 tickets left.

LOVEBOX: Lovebox festival follows 2 weeks after at East London's Victoria Park. The infectious house and Hip-Hop themed festival will kick off on July 18th and 19th. Headlining both days are London born and bred drum and bass duo Chase and Status. "We both come from London so to play this festival in our hometown will be great. Plus you can always count on London crowds to bring it”, they stated. 

 

Friday 18th - SOLD OUT on the official Lovebox website and Ticket Master but there are over 200 tickets on Get Me In!

Saturday 19th - Just a mere 6 tickets remaining on both Ticket Master and Get Me In so get yourself in!

JABBERWOCKY: Jabberwocky festival combines art, music and film all into one for a two-day event at the Excel centre, London. In terms of the music side, this festival is geared more towards the alternative lovers featuring the likes of James Blake, Caribou and Darkside and will commence on the 15th and16th of August. There are still loads of tickets available through their official website starting from £38.50!

If you don't fancy staying in London, there are still plenty of tickets available for some of the big upcoming festivals this month and next month. Perhaps you're not going away this year or you just want a bit of a change? If this is the case, then these festivals described below are for you:

 

V FESTIVAL: V fest will be held at two venues this year with tickets for both days and venues still up for grabs. This festival has been described time and time again as the most "versatile" festival by students all over the country due to its mixture of age groups and music genres represented.

 

August 16th - Chelmsford - Headliners: Justin Timberlake - 85 tickets, not long left to go before these sell considering it is still over a month away!

CREAMFIELDS -  For those with eclectic tastes, Creamfields is the one. Held annually in Daresbury, this festival is best known for showcasing DJ's with names as big as Avicii and Calvin Harris to name just a couple. It will begin on Friday 22nd August through to Sunday 24th August.

 

22nd August - Acts: Dimitri Vegas, Sub Focus etc - only 7 tickets left! 

23rd August - Acts: Martin Garrix, Zane Lowe etc - 64 tickets

24th August - Acts: Calvin Harris, Tiesto etc - 53 tickets

 

READING - Everyone who missed Glastonbury needs to get to Reading on 22nd - 24th August. There are hardly any tickets left at all; less than 10 for each day, in fact, so get yours whilst you can, but expect prices to be over £100 as they are only available on the resale website below!

ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL - After last year's sold out turn out in Queen Elizabeth's Olympic Park, EDC is back, but this time its at Milton Keynes and for just one day only! Tickets start from £65 and are on sale for 10 days until it starts on 12th July. Over 80 tickets left!
