Holi One is one of the most unique gatherings out there.

Other | Tuesday 24th June 2014 | IRENEGORDO

After becoming so popular, Holi One, also known as The Festival of Colours, has moved its way down throughout different parts of the UK, spreading its colour and culture around the country.

The particularly special attribute of the festival is the sheer abundance of paint. People coat themselves in various colours and throw multi-coloured powder into the air to express the freedom and beauty in their everyday lives. On this day of celebration, everyone is considered equal and it’s no wonder that Holi One has such a huge demand to spread its peace and paint to cities across the world.

Holi One isn’t just about dancing around madly; it allows people to have a day of victory, to celebrate who they really are and for people to come together in peace, harmony and vibrancy. Powerful messages are held in the ethos that allows room for everyone, including those of us who just want to celebrate in the festival spirit and get a little messy whilst were at it.

I, for one, can’t wait for it. With some of the best up and coming DJ’s taking centre stage including DRUNKEN MASTERS, ESKEI83, ZANE LOWE, MUMBAI SCIENCE and so many more to provide all of the dub vibes, reggae madness and bohemian delight.

This feel-good festival is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on your summer, so be sure to get yourself down there. Whether you’re in London, Nottingham, Birmingham or elsewhere, Holi One is happening somewhere near you. If that’s not enough to convince you, be sure to check out the feel good trailer for this summer’s hottest and brightest festival.
