Netsky's Live Tour Simply Cannot be Missed this Autumn.

Drum and Bass | Saturday 27th September 2014 | Nick Wesson

I was lucky enough to see Netsky Live at The Warehouse Project in Manchester towards the end of 2012, and I could not stress to you how vital it is that you get yourself to one of his six live shows taking place the week commencing 30th October. Even if you're not particularly a fan of him, which would be absurd, the atmosphere created is second-to-none.

Seeing drum & bass played instrumentally creates an entirely different tone for the evening, which you simply can't appreciate at a usual DJ set. Having someone physically smash that snare seems to make it tear through you like never before, and obviously the musicians are given far more creative freedom, allowing you to enjoy songs you've heard countless times, but with a beautifully different twist or with extra riffs and fills. A perfect of example of this being when Netsky donned a strapped keytar and made his way to the very front of the stage to play the intro for what was then his latest upcoming single "Without You".

And with Netsky's third album due for release later this year, expect these shows to illuminate his genius as he'll play covers, old classics, and some of his brand new tracks.
