LAMF 2014: Afro-Acoustics Ft. Kyazi Blues + Mudibu

A rare opportunity to hear Kyazi Blues perform and sing in the rarely heard Kihaya language as a apart of London African Music Festival 2014.

Singer and guitarist Kyazi Lugangira was born Tanzania and sings Kihaya Beat Blues and sweet Afro-soul. Naturally he names his band "Kyazi Blues" in tribute to his roots. His melodic words are soft and his music evokes a beautiful gracefulness that is purely African. This is a rare opportunity to hear Kyazi sings in the rarely heard Kihaya language of his motherland.

Self taught musician Mudibu was born In Burundi Bujumbura. Although a big star back home, he has made London his home since 2002 and the influence of this big city finds itself in his rather unique sound. His traditionally influenced melodies are uplifted further by his passionate and deeply soulful voice.
