The Pickle Factory x The Bunker New York

The Bunker has developed into a crucial part of New York's dance music community: first as a revered regular party in Brooklyn, now as a tasteful house and techno label releasing EPs from local talent and international stars alike. On 12th February, The Bunker invite live duo Romans to headline, aka acid techno hero Tin Man and L.I.E.S affiliate Gunnar Haslam. Romans' lush, abstract techno releases for The Bunker and Global A Records have seen rave critical reviews; while their much-vaunted live performance, all shimmering synths and plodding 303s, will make its London debut in The Pickle Factory.

Also flying in for The Bunker's showcase on February 12th, Lot.te, aka Turkish-born musician and artist Mehmet Irdel. Lot.te has long been an intrinsic part of The Bunker crew, at first producing warm analog soundscapes, noise and heavy electronics, now specialising in intricate, organic techno. February 12th will also mark Mehmet's London debut. Rounding out the bill is The Bunker head honcho Bryan Kasenic, a DJ we've long wanted to bring to Bethnal Green. As well as his long-running party in Brooklyn, Bryan has more recently exported The Bunker to revered clubs and festivals around the world - from Panorama Bar to Unsound, Smartbar to Decibel Festival. He's rightly regarded as one of New York's foremost DJs, possessed with a refined technique, and deep collection of electronic records old and new.
