DJ FORMAT:
In 2015 Format went back to his B-Boy roots with a self-released instrumental 45. KOOL & THE GANGSTARR GENERATION was a homage not only to the early work of Kool & The Gang, but also to some of the massively influential hip hop producers that sampled them in the '80s & early '90s. Towards the end of 2015 Format reunited with Abdominal for the first time in 10 years and embarked on a UK tour. The overwhelming public response and subsequent success of the tour took both Format & Abdominal by surprise. They are now working on an album together due for release in early 2017.

JOHN STAPLETON:
John Stapleton has been collecting records and DJing for longer than he cares to remember. He's compiled 15 LPs for labels React and Harmless, dabbled in music production and his own record labels, and played records in clubs and festivals from Iceland to Australia. Previously behind such seminal Bristol clubs as Def Con, The Cooker, Vision and BlowPop, he currently plays at two regular nights in Bristol - Go, Go Children and Easton Standard Time - playing funk, soul and reggae music, all on original vinyl releases, and can be found at festivals from WOMAD to Glastonbury as well as guest spots at soul nights up and down the country. BOCA 45:
Boca 45 is a Bristolian legend who's earned a mighty rep for his work with Andy Smith as "Dynamo Productions", with Gee Ealey as Malachai (Domino Records), with World Champion DJ Woody as BocaWoody plus other collaborative projects alongside his many solo records on various record la- bels. Banksy requested Scott Boca to DJ the opening party at Dismal Land in 2015 & has A List fans such as Serge from Kasabian & Huey Morgan at BBC 6 Music.
