Fossil Collective

Yorkshire based multi-instrumentalists Fossil Collective will be bringing their melodic folk/indie sound to The Forum Hertfordshire on Tuesday 23rd April 2013 with support from singer songwriters Joe Banfi and Thomas J Speight.

With rich glorious harmonies and meticulous attention to detail, Fossil Collective’s music is as much an aural statement as it is a pleasure to listen to.

‘Tell Where I Lie’ is the debut album from the duo, out now on Dirty Hit. It seems impossible that something so sonically complete could appear as if from nowhere, but the Yorkshire two-piece have been perfecting their craft and working towards this moment for years.

The album comes in the wake of acclaim that’s been building since their debut EP, ‘Let It Go’, released on 11th June 2012. Widespread national radio and press support has seen the band touring the UK non-stop, both as a headline act and most recently with Grammy-nominated band, The Civil Wars.

At least one thing is certain - in another 12 months, many, many more people will have fallen for the intricate song writing of Fossil Collective. Music like this cannot be kept a secret for long.
