Coventry rock’n’roll lads The Enemy are coming to stir up a storm in Hatfield as they headline The Forum Hertfordshire on Thursday March 7th.
Formed in Coventry in 2006 by three friends; Andy Hopkins (25, bass), Liam Watts (24, drums) and Tom Clarke (24, vocals/guitar), their first single ’40 days, 40 nights’ sold out all 1000 copies of its limited edition 7” in less than a day.
One of Britain’s best loved home grown indie talents with absolutely charged sets, The Enemy released ‘Streets in the Sky’, the band’s third album in the summer of 2012 and the album shot straight into the Top 10.
Support on the evening comes from The Family Rain and Empire. Hailing from Norwich, Empire’s atmospheric indie is sure to fill up The Forum with harking guitars, driving drums and powerful vocals. With London dates being announced soon, this could be the perfect opportunity to say you saw them at the start of a huge career.
The Family Rain will surely also fire the crowd up with their lo-fi blues rock that’s got more than a little swagger about it. These three Bath brothers were recently featured as Clash Magazine’s track of the day and after a 19 date UK/Euro tour through March and April, they are set for a big summer, recently being announced for Truck Festival in Oxford this July.
