Acclaimed singer-songwriter Thea Gilmore is set to perform at The Forum Hertfordshire on Thursday 4th July with support from rising star Sam Semple.

Thea recently released her 14th album, ‘Regardless’ which bears all the hallmarks of her best work – glass-sharp lyrics, dark humour, melodies that refuse to leave you and that haunting, smoky voice. Her melodic flair and voice have been admired by wide ranging contemporaries from Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez and Richard Thompson to Neil Gaiman, David Baddeil and William Boyd.

Support comes from Sam Semple whose debut album ‘Mystery Songs’ is a timeless, soulful record that evokes the literary song writing era of the 1970s. It’s a testament to good old-fashioned song craft echoing the music of Neil Young, Kris Kristofferson, Paul Simon and James Taylor.
