Get ready for a red hot evening as 10 piece orchestra AFRIK BAWANTU and Ghanaian vocalist and djembe drummer, AFLA SACKEY take to the stage alongside Afri-Ko-Koa label Boss AJ KWAME for an evening of upbeat, polyrhythmic madness, dropped live and very direct to the dancefloor - deep from the Beat Afrique at The CLF / Bussey.

The Dancefloor truly awaits as we continue to chart, explore and champion the evolution and expression of African Music in all it's forms. Classic, contemporary and future Afro-Dancefloor sounds + the absolute finest in Afro Funk, Beats and Breaks unearthed AND delivered by the cream of the world's afrocentric live + DJ communities.

AFLA SACKEY and AFRIK BAWANTU
AfrikBawantu are a 10-piece orchestra formed in 2007 by Ghanaian vocalist and djembe drummer, Afla Sackey.

With AfrikBawantu, Afla brings his musical dream of blending traditional Ghanaian music with sizzling Afro-beat grooves to life, topping it off with an irresistibly funky twist.

Their unique blend of vibrant African rhythms with fast, animated horn sections and heavy bass lines brings a whole new definition to the Afro-Funk genre and captivates audiences from all walks of life.
