Newcastle's finest Smoove & Turrell are back with their third studio album Broken Toys. Their rise through the ranks of British soul has been nothing but unstoppable, here's a little recap why:

First album Antique Soul scored some heavy points with singles I Can't Give You Up, You Don't Know & Beggarman. Gaining the lads two records of the week on Radio 2 (Radcliffe & Maconie) and their first ever-national playlist on 6 music. This propelled Smoove & Turrell to headlining stages at festivals such as Glastonbury and Big Chill - so believe us when we say that we are truly excited to welcome them to the SLST Live stage. Time to seriously get down.

Then on Level 2 The Right Honourable Prime Minister of the Rare 45 and all round bad ass DJ Snowboy and audio partner in crime - Jazzcotech head honcho, the simply outstanding DJ Perry Louis drop it like it's hot - all night long baby. Delivering the funk, the whole funk and nothing but the funk on 45.

Level 3 it's The Northern Soul Room. The Legendary Rob Messer, Craig Jamieson + Claire Kalvis dropping yet more Positively Seismic Heavyweight Northern Soul Vibrations of epic proportions. Get ready to dance hard people.

The SLST 4 floor line up completed by basement residents First Word Founder Gilla and Wah Wah 45 DJs serving up more piping hot joints from the world wide soul underground.
