Earmarked as the next landmark chapter in his already illustrious career, Sub Focus will bring his jaw-dropping LED rig to London’s most iconic music venue, the O2 Brixton Academy on Easter Thursday 17th April. Set to be his biggest London performance to date, this event will follow in the footsteps of his sell out live performances at Electric Brixton and The Roundhouse. With all early bird tickets sold out and saver tickets selling fast, Nick Douwa will be accompanied by an exclusive hand-picked selection of very special guests, in what promises to be remembered as one of 2014’s greatest highlights.

Signed exclusively to Ram Records, Wilkinson spent 2013 establishing himself as one of drum & bass’ most important assets. Having caught the ear of label boss Andy C back in 2010, Wilkinson cemented his place within the scene with breakthrough releases such as ‘Automatic’ and ‘Need to Know’. Having been heavily supported by BBC Radio 1, last year witnessed the release of Wilkinson’s biggest success to date ‘Afterglow’, which topped the UK Dance Chart ahead of his debut album ‘Lazers Not Included’. With his debut album currently sitting at #2 in the iTunes electronic album chart and its sixth single ‘Too Close’ set for release later this month, it’s clear that Wilkinson has only started his journey to the top.

Matrix & Futurebound need little introduction having enjoyed huge achievements in their own right. Having combined their worlds back in 2007, the skilful fusion of their epic melodic soundscapes with heavyweight basslines and original vocals defined a new era of drum & bass. After sending tremors across the scene with various releases on Metro and Viper Recordings, the pair have since evolved into one of drum & bass’ most exciting duos. The end of 2013 saw Matrix & Futurebound once again rise to new heights with the release of their biggest hit to date, ‘Control’. With huge support on BBC Radio1, 1Xtra, Kiss and Capital FM, ‘Control’ cracked the UK Top 10 and charted at #7 and #2 in the UK Dance charts – a level of success matched only by a select few in the dance world.

Also joining Sub Focus on the night will be BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits. Hailing from Canada, B.Traits’ sets incorporate everything from breakbeat to jungle, dubstep to drum & bass, reggae to garage and everything in between. With her weekly Tuesday night radio show, ‘The Late Night Chameleon Club’ showcasing the finest emerging UK bass music, B.Traits’ vibrant, forward-thinking future music makes her one of the undergrounds most talented performers. Signed to Digital Soundboy after meeting head honcho Shy FX on tour, 2014 will see plenty of new releases and a debut album on the horizon. With one of the busiest diaries on the circuit due to her worldwide bookings and radio show, B.Traits is the perfect addition this bass heavy affair.

My Nu Leng are the latest talent to rise from Bristol’s coveted music scene. With a sound impossible to pigeonhole, the Black Butter signed duo draw influence from the whole electronic spectrum between pitch shifted vocals and bass heavy rumbles. Now established as a core part of Black Butter, the pair have gained strong support and attention and have gone on to produce a slew of high rolling remixes including reworks of ‘La La La’ by Naughty Boy and the summer smash ‘Right Here’ by Rudimental to name a few. With their 3rd Black Butter EP ‘Masterplan’ set to do the damage, we are delighted to welcome My Nu Leng.

Boasting an unrivalled atmosphere of almost 5000 bass hungry revellers, this event is sure to exceed any previous Sub Focus experiences, as he delivers another mesmerising live performance.
