Discovery & Emmanuelle's Party Bucket presents The Garage/ Disco Till I die / Waxwerks at The Horse & Groom

Upstairs over both rooms EPB hosted by Death on the Balcony welcomes the masterminds behind The Garage nightclub in Leeds. The Garage/Waxwerks idea conceived and nurtured by Steve Hawkins, Tristan Da Cuhna & Frenchy and with night after night of quality music to baying crowds, in less than a year they became winners of Best Small Club at the DJ mag awards. This accolade proves just how much they have breathed a whole new freshness into northern clubbing. The Garage is home to nights like the legendary Back To Basics, Nest & Lowbrow providing a great intimate atmosphere week in week out which we intend to bring down the M1 to you in our cosy loft at the Horse & Groom. Steve, Tristan & Frenchy, no just content with providing great parties for the people of Leeds, also offer the amazing “Waxwerks” Record shop where you can get a great selection of disco/house and beyond + also catch impromptu “in-store” performances from top flight DJ’s like Appolonia, Andres & Neville Watson. Tristan Da Cuhna & Frenchy are long time serving Back To Basics family so you can expect the very best on the pulse musical selections from these guys in the store & on the decks. The guys will also be bringing some disco treats for Boudoir 54 where in-house Garage promotion “Disco Till I Die” will be playing some unadulterated disco and 80’s classics to add to the frenzy. Things will be getting a little “new york new york” in there so expect some surprises in that room to say the least. Resident DJ’s & Monthly masters of ceremonies Death on the Balcony will be on hand, as always, to host proceedings. Get this in the diary this is one not to be missed!
Downstairs in the Downtown Disco will be hosted by Discovery Neil Thornton (Lasermagnetic) & Jac the Disco (Killed Cowboys) & a very special guest TBC who will be adding their frenzied mix of disco old & new, rediscovered party unclassics and house to the pot. This year has been a roller coaster of fun for the boys bringing in great guests and totally rocking parties including Tornado Wallace, Gilb'r (Chateau Flight), Dj Kaos Stevie Kotey, Toby Tobias, Loud-E, Dan Beaumont, Andy Blake, Casino Times.
With the label about to drop and lots of surprises for 2013 it is really about the disco!
