Beat Bop and Blues, Hackney Wick's live Blues, Rockabilly and Rock'n'Roll club returns on Friday 29 August.. this month's special guests are The Excellos, and Sunlight Service Group and Henry Scott-Irvine of Resonance FM on the Decks. The Excellos - straight out of the London rockabilly scene with a brand new album under their belts bring their rocking, stomping, stripped down, rockabilly blues to GROW. Sunlight Service Group are a power trio who will be tripping us out in a late '60s psyche-blues vein.. This month we kick off with a canal boat serenade from The Dublo and Mollys Daggers while the sun shines on our canalside terrace and pop up bar.. After dark we move inside for some raw blues action on the stage, DJing blue beat and ska from DGO Ranks #1. All this takes place at GROW, an ethically trading and environmentally aware canalside venue and bar, this month with delicious Slow Fire Londob street food (vegan and vegetarian included) in residence. Free entry with an optional pass the hat for performers.. Starts 7pm till LATE..
